⚡ We achieved a fully functioning 250 cm2 cell, producing ammonia from just air and water with minimal energy use. We continue to scale towards commercial scale green ammonia generators.

🚀 NitroFix graduated the prestigious Texas Innovates CHILI program (Carbon and Hydrogen Innovation & Learning Incubator). Supported by the DOE, we laid the groundwork for collaboration with leading energy companies in the United States.

🔎 Site visits with potential partners in the USA were conducted throughout Q1, exploring various models and scenarios for integrating NitroFix technology into operational facilities.

🎤 Interest peaked at the 2025 European Green Ammonia Summit in Dusseldorf where Ophira delivered a mainstage talk on our breakthrough technology.

👨🏽🔬 We continue to grow steadily, welcoming two electrochemical researchers to the team. Assaf Eran holds a Masters in Material Science and brings vast experience in electrochemical systems, and Liad Hatina joins NitroFix while completing his studies in Chemical Engineering.

Shipping Banks on Ammonia

🚢 Lloyd’s Register sees a big year ahead for ammonia as a fuel. “What I worry about is [that] we're going to have zero-emission capable ships and nowhere near enough zero-emission fuels ready to put in those ships,” says LR’s Chief Executive, Nick Brown.

‍NitroFix is perfectly positioned to deliver vast amounts of green-ammonia to the sector at the most affordable price on the market.

📈 DNV Research reveals a 25% increase in new orders for alternative-fuelled vessels. Ammonia-powered vessel orders increased by a whopping 650% (from 2 to 15). To date in 2025, only one alternative fuel order has been placed, and its ammonia! Source.

🫧 Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and CMB.Tech announce a major deal to build and deploy 9 ammonia-powered vessels. This landmark agreement highlights how influential ammonia will become in the future of maritime transportation. Read more.

📜  At MEPC 83, the IMO approved a new framework linking fuel greenhouse gas intensity (GFI) to compliance credits and penalties. Only fuels with very low lifecycle emissions—like renewables-based green ammonia—can meet the <19 gCO2e/MJ threshold and earn surplus credits.
