catalytic technology

Nearly a decade of research at the world-renowned Weizmann Institute of Science resulted in breakthrough technology mimicking the catalytic capacity of Nitrogenase enzymes found in dinitrogen fixing bacteria.

Unique Cathode Production
NitroFix manufactures its own unique cathodes, without the need for precious metals. In a meticulous process, we embed the catalyst directly into our cathodes.
Exclusive patent
Electrocatalytic reduction of nitrogen to ammonia using an organo-metallic catalyst, an alkali metal cation, and a proton / electron donor.

By connecting the NitroFix generators to abundant renewable energy sources, we deliver truly net-zero green ammonia.
When coupling our ammonia generators to ammonia fuel cells, zero CO2 electricity becomes a reality - on demand at the point of use. Redirecting the ammonia fuel cell to power NitroFix’s ammonia generators creates a self-sufficient system.
